Boxwood in a Pot

Boxwood (Buxus) is used as a hedge and tolerates regular pruning. It generally prefers shade or partial shade, but can also tolerate some sun, though not excessively. Regular watering is recommended, as it is drought-resistant, but ideally the soil should dry slightly at the surface between waterings. In winter, during its dormant period, reduce the amount of water and frequency of watering.
